Weekend shopping spree

I always have a soft corner for these people:

* location: main atria of malls
* white T-shirt with a brand name
* blue jeans
* cordless mic in hand
* pseudo accentuated English in mouth
* yaar, hey, come on, voila, who wants to try, here is a young chap/lady who wants to try
* radio FM sponsors live/nearby
* marketing an I.P product

Poor fellows, they are ones who get maximum attention but will not be able to sell anything. I happened to see one such creature in EA last week, best I could do was to utter "thso-thso" and pass on.

I always wonder why salesmen in saree shops throw cow dung coloured and saamiyar coloured sarees for display on the table as soon as they start their deal. Probably to make their other mediocre sarees look better?? Anyway, my planned post on how to handle ladies who plan to spend a day in saree shops will address more on this issue.

The food court in EA and how people 'grab' those limited seats is a pain for us and eye soar for tourists. Fill your tummy and plan a trip to EA, better in an auto or PTC bus - Parking lot is equally bad. We had tough time locating our driver. A trick is to ask your driver to park and then come upstairs where you have mobile signal.

Later that saturday, I went shopping to a chain that offers 'brammandamana' things. I had a vow not to go to this shop after watching Angadi Theru movie - somehow I had to break it. Anand wondered how many of them are imports from VPT belt and how many sermakanis would be among them -- hard facts! We tried hard to locate a 'supervisor', but couldn't.

On a different note, why are infants always attracted to buttons and mobile phones? Whoof.

Happy saturday!
