Maniganden had a post in his wall - bcmin a big fan of "weather forecast" Ramanan.... "Forecast" that never happens.. :)

I recollect my memories -- a rain filled morning, exactly at 7.15 AM (time at which my favourite train 39Dn Brindavan starts), my father switches on the radio and the standard thing is broadcasted:

"All India Radio, maanila cheithigal, vaasippavar Saroj Narayanswamy. Thamizhagathil peidhu varum adai mazhiyin karanamaga thamizhagam matrum puducheriyil ulla anaithu palli matrum kallorigaluku vidumurai alikappattulladhaga arasu tharapu cheidhi kurippu therivikkindradhu"

...and then you get to continue your sleep.

Wow! She really had a divine voice.
