There is one thing in a school student's life that should not be missed - The school rickshaw!

I have enjoyed a lot in going to school in a cycle rickshaw. It was an important part of my school life. I took rickshaw to Boston when I was studying 5th, 7th and 8th standards. We were 7 of us in a rickshaw when I was studying 5th standard. We used to play a lot of games, spot red colour cars to bring good luck, played one-for-sorrow game, counted Ayyappa bhakthas (one who counts the maximum will get more marks!)... Looking back, I am happy that I had this opportunity in my life and utilised it to the maximum [:)]

I remember our rickshaw man Natarajan taking a right turn to enter Bazaar Road from Mount Road near Tod Hunter Nagar in the days when Mount Road did not have a median there. Cannot imagine such a situation these days!!

Kutti rickshawman used to ring his bell to alarm the Jones Road gateman not to close the gate until he passes!!!

Nice memories.
